Non Futurity Class Prizes, Descriptions and Rules:

Class #TBA  (Non futurity class)Do-Over 2 yr old Snaffle Bit Challenge-  Class will run directly after the open jackpot 2 year old futurity snaffle bit class. At no cost to exhibitor, all contestants who placed 4th and back in the average placings in the Select and Open 2 year old snaffle bit  futurity classes, will remain in the arena (if they so choose), and be allowed to do the class over! It will be judged just as the futurity class, averaged and placed and the 1st place horse, after average, will receive a Silver Belt Buckle provided by the class sponsor, Jay Star Ranch, home of AQHA Stallion Mister GQ.  Placings will be announced and ties broken using rules from futurity classes. There is no cash award for this class. If four or less entries, than places 2 on back will ride for prize.

Class #TBA  (Non futurity class)   Do-Over 2 yr old Hunter Under Saddle Challenge-  Class will run directly after the Breeders Futurity 2 Year Old HUS class. At no cost to exhibitor, all contestants who placed 4th and back in the average placings during the Select futurity class, will remain in the arena (if they so choose), and be allowed to do the class over! It will be judged just as the futurity class, averaged and placed and the 1st place horse, after average, will receive a Silver Belt Buckle provided by the class sponsor,  Jay Star Ranch, home of AQHA Stallion Mister GQ.  Placings will be announced and ties broken using rules from futurity classes. There is no cash award for this class. If four or less entries, than places 2 and back will ride for prize.

 

Specialty Award Descriptions, Prizes and Rules

High Point Palomino Colored Pleasure Horse- This award will be presented directly following the Senior Western Pleasure Jackpot futurity class. All entrants in the 2 Year Old Snaffle Bit , 3 Year Old Western Pleasure, Junior and Senior Western Pleasure, that are riding a palomino colored  horse (whether solid or patterned of any of the approved breeds) are eligible for this award at no additional cost. Using points tabulated from placings earned during each of the lope classes offered at this futurity (excluding non pro class) , a winner will be determined and awarded a Trophy Saddle, sponsored by Rystrom Quarter Horses of Trumbull, Nebraska.  In the event of a  tie, the horse that was ridden in the largest class  will receive the award. If a tie still exists, between one or more exhibitors, all numbers will be placed in a hat and drawn by one of our judges.  Only one horse will be eligible for both the award and title. The title shall be Five Star Futurity Champion , Palomino Western Pleasure Horse.
